Helsinki, Finland - Cruiserweight Samuli Karkkainen (15-1) won clearly over Georgian Slava Margishvili (1-2) over eight in the main event of this Pro Box Team Finland and Probellum show at the Apollo Night Club tonight.

The records sums it up well but while Karkkainen dominated the fight he could never hurt his stubborn opponent, who came to last the distance and did just that.

Fight of the night came between welterweight Amin Nuri (3-1) and Jamshid Nazari (7-1). Nuri, the bigger man, dominated the first four rounds but Nazari, from Norway, came back and finished well but it was too little too late. Nazari was badly shaken in the third but Nuri failed to follow up.

Hamburg, Germany - Heavyweight Zhan Kossobutskiy (18-0) continued his march to the top by stopping French veteran Johann Duhaupas (39-7) in what was the headliner of Universum's Box Promotion's big show. Kossobutskiy kept pawing with his jab and Duhaupas' left eye began to swell and his nose was in bad shape so it came as no surprise when he didn't come out for the sixth round.

Lightweight Dzmitry Asanau (3-0) outscored vastly more experienced Mexican Marcos Villasana (27-7-) over eight and impressed with his footwork and handspeed. Villasana kept stalking his opponent but could never pin him down.

As for the headliner and big ticket seller it was "celebrity boxing" that filled the venue.

Cullera, Spain - Super featherweight Juan Felix Gomez (12-0) retained the EU title with a unanimous decision over French challenger Anthony Riviere (10-4-1). It was scored 120-107 and 118-109 twice.
