Joe Joyce's mandatory defense of the EBU heavyweight title against former cruiserweight king Marco Huck (42-5-1) goes to purse bids - again - but now with June 30 as deadline.

Their purse bids were first set for June 14 but that was apparently under the condition that the champion would make a voluntary defense of the title.

However, Joyce (12-0) will now take on Carlos Takam (39-5-1) next month with two other titles at stake.

Look for Huck to take on the highest available challenger for the vacant EBU title, while Joyce - if he gets past Takam - to fight for a world title.

Swedish light heavyweight Oscar Ahlin (21-2) will, if all works out, fight an opponent to be announced with the vacant WBA Continental title at stake on August 28 in Marbella, Spain. Ahlin won the vacant IBO Cont'l crown in his last fight and is unbeaten in his last eight fights.

Former EBU champ and IBF world title challenger Anthony "Can You Dig It" Yigit (24-1-1) is stepping down from his career in professional boxing to begin acting school in Stockholm, Sweden.

Yigit's last fight dates two years back, which has to do with parting ways with Team Sauerland and after signing with LPMG Boxing in Florida he's seen several fight dates come and go for one reason or another.

Yigit also won the Swedish equivalent to The Selection: Special Forces Experiment and has also appeared in other TV shows.

Matteo Signani's defense of the EBU middleweight title against Spaniard Ruben Diaz, that was unofficially set for a June date, has been postponed until October.. As to why, well, it appears that DAZN doesn't have a date available after announcing its summer schedule.

Signani (30-5-3) vs Diaz (26-2-2)  is promoted by OPI since 82 and Matchroom.

Edis Tatli (32-3) vs Gianluca Ceglia (16-3-1) for the vacant EBU lightweight title is on for August 14 in Savonlinna in Eastern Finland.

If Tatli wins he will be the first Finn to win the EBU title three times. This fight has been postponed several times by now due to COVID-19 and Tatli's injured shoulder but now it appears to be set.

Look for Jose Antonio Sanchez Romero (13-0-1) against Cristian Rodriguez (12-5) with the vacant EU super bantamweight title at stake to end up on this show as well. Both men hail from Spain but Sanchez Romero has been residing in Finland for a few years by now.
