The fight for the vacant EBU light heavyweight title between Callum Johnson (18-1) and Igor Mikhalkin (23-2) that was set for March 7 in Manchester on a Matchroom promotion is now pushed forward until May 2 with site remaining Manchester. There´s been no reason given for the postponement. Topping the bill May 2 is Dillian Whyle vs Alexander Povetkin.

The Nordic Nightmare, Robert Helenius have posted a photo on his Instagram where he is posing with Nathan Gorman at his gym in Mariehamn (Finland). Helenius is preparing for a showdown against Adam Kownacki March 7 and bringing in a guy like Gorman who´s got good hand speed might help Helenius.

Roberto prepared for Gerald Washington sparring with the likes of Alexander Ustinov and Gunnar Kolbein Kristinisson - both men not known for speed and the result was a bad ko loss.

Tough French heavyweight veteran Johann Duhaupas (38-5) has his next fight lined up in March against an opponent to be announced. Duhaupas beat Luis Pascual in October of last year in his first fight since losing to Jarrell Miller in April 2018.

Duahupas´ stablemate is German Christian Thun (4-0) who is currently training in Miami. If it all works out he will have four fights during 2020 in the US. Thun is billed as the new Klitschko and has the similar build but it´s still early.

Super middle Timo Rost (9-0-1) and super welter Yaser Yueksel (10-1-1) are both featured on a Werner Kreiskott promotion March 28 in Velbert (Germany). Both fighters are trained by retired cruiser Ruediger May, who went 43-6-3 in the pros and was an excellent boxer.

Canadian-German heavyweight Franz Rill (16-2) comes back in May or June says his manager Tyler Buxton. Rill has been out since September of 2018 to attend school.

In Europe Franz fought for the EBU title against Robert Helenius as a very late sub and suffered a bad KO loss against Adrian Granat in a fight he was winning until walking into a right from his hard punching opponent.

Sanna Turunen (6-3-1) and Elena Sikmashvili (9-9) clash for the vacant EBU female super middleweight title on March 28 in Riijarvi (Finland). Turunen moves up from middleweight for this one. In the co-feature Gennadi "Russian Roulette" Mentsikainen (8-4) take on Janne Forsman (22-13) for the vacant BBU cruiserweight crown.
