51-year old former WBA cruiser champ Firat Arslan (50-9-3) headlines his own promotion at the Firat Arslan Sportcenter in Goeppingen, Germany, March 26. Opponent isn't announced yet.

Arslan tells Turkish media that this will be his last year as an active boxer. He adds that preparations for the fight haven't gone well as he has been suffering from Covid-19. Firat still hopes he can close out his career with another world title shot.

Also on the bill are unbeaten cruiser Huseyn Cinkara (17-0) and heavyweight Edi Delibaltaoglu (8-5).

Danish promoter Mogens Palle celebrated his 88th birthday yesterday (March 14) and at the same time announced that super welter Oliver Meng (8-0) will fight for the vacant WBC Youth title, April 21, on what is announced as Palle's final show after 65 years in boxing.

Opponent for Meng is to be announced.

This Danish Fight Night Promotion is headlined by Enoch Poulsen vs Franck Petitjean with the vacant EBU title at stake and Sarah Mahfoud defending the IBF female featherweight title against Nina Meinke.

German heavyweight Tom Schwarz (26-1) declared on social media that "the show must go on" and comes back on April 9 in Falkensee.

Schwarz was stopped in two by Tyson Fury in Las Vegas in 2019 but after scoring two wins later the same year there's been nothing but trouble for the big German, who was sentenced for beating up his then girlfriend and thus lost his contract with SES.

As for his record, well, it is a bit inflated but there will certainly be some good paydays for him out there.

As announced by DAZN, Spanish super welterweight Kerman Lejarraga (34-2) squares off against Brit James Metcalf (21-2) on May 20 in Bilbao with the vacant WBA Continental title at stake.

Lejarraga will prepare for the fight in Las Vegas, reports Espabox. With Metcalf coming in with two straight losses it means that it is a dangerous fight for the Spaniard with little to gain in case of a win.
