Croatian heavyweight Filip Hrgovic, world class for years in the amateurs and bronze medal winner in the Rio Olympics, has been surrounded by rumors of turning pro with Sauerland Event for some time now.

The pro debut (well, he´s been a pro for some time already) could go ahead September 30 in Riga (Latvoia) in a supporting bout to Mairis Briedis vs Mike Perez. There is no comment from Team Sauerland.

Super middleweight Denis Radovan (6-0) and super lightweight Timo Schwarzkopf (17-1), will fight on the undercard to Chris Eubank vs Yavni Yildrim World Boxing Super Series Quarterfinal in Stuttgart on October 7. Both are trained by WBSS participant and former WBA light heavyweight champ Juergen Braehmer. Radovon is in against Tiran Metz (14-2-6) while opponent for Schwarzkopf is to be announced.

Super middleweight Vartan Avetisyan (13-0-1) takes on Argentinean Alejandro Gustavo Falliga with the IBO Int´l title at stake October 14 in Munich on a show billed as Petko´s Fight Night "Champions Edition". Headlining are heavyweights Francesco Pianeta and Kevin Johnson.

German heavyweight Tom Schwarz (19-0) will now face Belgian Ali Baghouz (14-1-1) September 30 in Magdeburg after Pole Marcin Siwy was forced out due to a hand injury. Baghouz won the Bigger is Better Tournament once and was also Belgian champion but have only fought once the last two years.

There will be purse bids September 26 for the all German middleweight showdown between Ronny Mittag, reigning IBF Intercontinental champion, and his challenger Dominik Britsch. There was a deal in place but then Britsch changed management and now it will go to purse bids. Mittag is promoted by Wiking Box Team.
