SES close out 2020 with a show at Hotel Maritim in Magdeburg on December 12 (first planned for November 21). Headlining is cruiserweight Roman Fress (11-0) who takes on Italian champ Francesco Versaci (21-3). It's announced as an Intercontinental title fight but not more detailed than that.

Fress is trained by former world champ Robert Stieglitz and has this far looked good but it's still the early days. The 35-year old Versaci is 2-0 since coming back after a long layoff in 2019.

In the chief support light heavyweight Tom Dzemski (15-0) takes on Jihad Nasif (12-1-1). On the undercard, former cruiser king Yoan Pablo Hernandez (29-2) tries again at coming back - the first time, a few months ago, ended in an upset loss to Kevin Johnson.

Universum Box Promotion will stage the comeback of former world champion Felix Sturm (41 years old and 40-5-3) on December 19 in Cologne, Germany. Who Sturm is fighting is still an open question.. The ex-champ last fought in 2016.

Heavyweights Jose Larduet (4-0) and Christian Thun (6-0) are both on the bill in featured bouts.
