Argentinean super middleweight Mateo Damian Veron (28-22-3) beat Danish veteran Lolenga Mock in January in quite an upset (let´s forget it was a bad piece of matchmaking: Veron has the one thing Mock never could handle and that is speed).

Veron have since been back to Europe and was stopped by Anthony Sims Jr. on March 2 in the UK.

On April 4 Veron is booked to fight Leon Bauer (15-0-1) and if all goes at least relatively well the Argentinean take on Mock again and this time in Aarhus, Denmark, May 18.

EBU super middleweight champ Robin Krasniqi (49-5) will according to the EBU make his voluntary defence against fellow-German and stablemate in SES Stefan Haertel (17-1) on April 26 in Kempten in the soufh of Germany.

The winner will have face mandatory challenger who is no other than former WBO, WBA and EBU light heavyweight champ Juergen Braehmer. The date and site is not confirmed by SES.

Patrick "Tiger" Mendy (18-14-3) is back from Latvia where he fought local hero Ricards Bolotniks (13-5-1) and lost on a majority decision.

"It was the worst robbery in the history of boxing" says Mendy, who´s often been at the wrong end of close decisions. However, it must also be said that Mendy´s style of fighting, his many awkward moves and the fact that he tends to take rounds off, makes him a tough man to score.

Veteran Italian cruiserweights Salvatore Erittu (30-3) and Maurizio Lovaglio (22-16) clash again on Saturday (March 30) in Sassari. Erittu is again national champ but in 2014 he was knocked out by Lovaglio and lost the belt. The show is promoted by OPI since 82.

Croatian light heavyweight Marko Calic (9-0) is currently in Montreal to spar with IBF Artur Beterbiev, who on May 4 defends the title against Radivoje Kalajdzic.

Calic - promoted by Fight Life in Sweden - is a very talented boxer and ready for bigger fights and he will give Beterbiev excellent sparring. Stylewise he is of course a bit like Kalajdzic.
