Former WBA, WBO and EBU light heavyweight champion Juergen Braehmer, 44 and 52-3-1, according to BILD, is considering a comeback.

Braehmer last fought in December of 2019 but has remained active in professional boxing as a coach for the likes of Robin Krasniqi and Tyron Zeuge. Opponent in the comeback - if it comes off - is former IBO and WBA interim title holder Dominic Boesel (32-4), who was stopped by Gilberto Ramirez last year and hasn't fought since.

Heavyweight Zhan Khossobutskyi was supposed to have headlined Universum Box Promotion's show Dusseldorf on June 3 but he will fight Jared Anderson a month later in Toledo, Ohio.

Instead light heavies Rostam Ibrahim (11-0-2) and Leon Bunn (19-1) take center stage in an exciting matchup. Cuban heavyweight Jose Larduet (9-0) is in against Ali Kiydin (16-2) in the co-feature . Croatian super middle prospect Luka Plantic (5-0) is also on the bill.

"Rocky II - the Return" goes ahead tomorrow (May 13) in Offenbach with Rocky himself, light heavy Luca Antonio Cinqueoncie 16-0) headlining and he defends the IBF and IBO Youth titles against Joseph Maigwisya (7-0) from Tanzania. 

Super middleweight Leon Bauer, 24 years old but with eight years of professional boxing behind him and 18-0-1, meets Colombian Hancel Gonzales (10-1) with the IBF and IBO Youth belts at stake.

37-year old French veteran Yvan Mendy (47-7-1) looked just about finished when he lost the EBU lightweight title to Ukrainian Denys Berinchuk (17-0) in December of last year in London.

However, yesterday in Castelau-le-Lez Mendy won the IBF International 140 lb title with a points win over Bastien Ballesta (25-1-1). It was close and controversial but Mendy won it and put some life into his career.

Belgian heavyweight "Big" Jack Mulowayi (12-3-1) is currently in Orebro, Sweden, sparring with Pezhman Seifkhani (15-1) and Marios Kolias (10-2-1). Also on hand is Austrian champ Dardan Avdylaj (10-0).

Pezhman prepares for the much anticipated rematch against national champ Awadh Tamim, who beat Seifkhani in a big upset in March. As for Kollias, there is a big - not yet public - fight abroad coming up.
