EC Boxing in Hamburg, Germany, have signed up Ukrainian heavyweight Victor Faust. Faust was in amateur boxing known under his real name Viktor Wychrist and he won Gold in the European championships in 2017 as well as three national titles.

Faust is managed by former former WBA jr welter champ Andreas Kotelnik. Also involved in getting Faust to Hamburg is Peter Hanraths, who back in the day was responsible for some of Universum´s best signings.

Faust will now be training in Hamburg under Bulent Baser. When Viktor will make his pro debut isn´t clear yet.

The Norwegian Pacman, featherweight Bernard Torres (10-0) is in against Joseafat Reyes (8-11-1) on February 22 in Madrid. The talented Torres is promoted by Maravilla Box and of Filipino descent.

 Headlining the show is flyweight Angel Moreno, 19-4-2, who lost a fight for the vacant EBU title last time out.

AGON Sports have sent their team to Mallorca for a training camp and all went well. The first show of the year is scheduled for March 21 in Wuppertal with middleweight Vincenzo Gualtieri (14-0) headlining.

As for  Agon´s EU super middleweight king Tyron Zeuge, he has purse bids coming up for his mandatory defence against Italian-Romanian puncher Dragan Lepei on March 3.

Former IBO light heavyweight ruler Sven Fornling will not only drop down to super middleweight, he´s also made an amicable split with EC Boxing. What will happen next is still not clear.

Fornling beat stablemate Karo Murat in a big upset in late 2018 and then lost the title almost a year later to Dominic Boesel in what was a very tough fight for the Swede and some like his now former promoter feel it´s time to retire but Sven wants to give it another go.
