Former WBA Interim and IBO light heavy champ Robin Krasniqi (53-7) meets Portugal’s Jorge Silva (22-9) May 4 in Augsburg (Germany). Krasnigi looked very lucky to get a DQ win over tough Frenchman Nadjob Mohammedi (45-11) last time out, so he needs a good victory over Silva to stay in the picture for bigger fights.

Former WBO and IBO cruiserweight king Marco Huck (42-5-1) has once again announced a comeback. Huck tells BILD he will fight July 29 at the Estrel Hotel in Berlin against an opponent to be announced. 

Huck lost to Oleksandr Usyk in 2017 and fought once a year at heavyweight 2018-19 and again in 2020 but after that he has been inactive, although there have comebacks announced but with plans falling through. mainly due to injuries.

There’s another busy weekend in German boxing coming up. Agon Sports stage their second show in a week with an event at their Sports Hall in Berlin topped by a fight for the vacant EBU heavyweight title between Granit Shala (15-0) and Germany-based Ukrainian Oleksandr Zakhozhyi (18-0).

SES and Blanko Sports promote a show in Aschersleben with super welter Julian Vogel (13-0-1) taking on Belgian Jan Helin (13-3-1) with the vacant WBO Youth title at stake. In the co-feature, cruiserweight Roman Fress (19-1) takes on Enes Yardimic (8-0).
