Hamburg-based promoters EC Boxing, headed by Erol Ceylan, promotes a big event in Trabzon, Turkey, on May 19.

Topping the bill is super lightweight Fatih Keles, 10-0-1, in a defence of the WBO European title.

In other action former WBA cruiserweight champ Firat Arslan, 41-8-2, heavyweight Ali Eren Demirezen, 8-0, and Huseyn Cinkara, 11-0, appear. Opponents are to be announced in the next few days.

Super middleweight Vartan "the Punch" Avetisyan, 16-0-1, square off against Argentinean Ruben Eduardo Acosta (36-15-5) June 16 in Munich with the vacant IBO Intercontinental title at stake. Acosta have over the years been to Germany a number of times and have lost to the likes of Robert Stieglitz, Tyron Zeuge, Karoly Balzsay and Juergen Doberstein and always given a good account of himself.

Dutch super middleweight Nieky Holzken, 13-1, takes on veteran Bernard Donfack, 23-18-4, on Saturday in Offenheim on the undercard to Abraham vs Nielsen.

The show also feature the pro debut of welterweight Abass Barou, who takes on Arthur Mueller. Light heavyweight Leon Bunn (9-0) is in tough against the Czech Tomas Adamek (26-15-2) in the co-feature.

Anthony Yigit´s defence of the EBU super lightweight title against Frenchman Franck Petitjean is postponed with no new date given. When MK Events won purse bids for the fight it was mentioned that Yigit vs Petitjean would go ahead May 5 in Paris but no show was ever announced. Yigit, currently training in Las Palmas, Spain, was earlier in the year forced out of an IBF eliminator against Ivan Baranchuk due to illness.

Super middleweights Przemyslaw Opalach (26-2) and Emil Markic (27-2) clash for the WBFed title May 19 in Zurich, Switzerland. Markic comes in for Nieky Holzken who as seen above accepted another offer for a fight on another show.
