York Hall, Bethnal Green, London - Former world cruiserweight champion Enzo Maccarinelli (33-5, 26 KOs) made a successful debut in the light heavyweight division, annihilating undefeated but barely legal Hungarian opponent Gyorgy Marosi (12-1, 8 KOs) at 1:31 of the very first round. Marosi was not capable of doing anything with the fragile but powerful Welshman, which was promptly proved in the fight. Enzo Mac got the job done with a series of right hands to the jaw of Marosi. The Hungarian didn't go down but referee Jeff Hinds stepped in way too early to stop the guest boxer from taking more punishment, which was a typical "British stoppage."

Talented 22-year old super middleweight Frank Buglioni (2-0, 2 KOs) got his second first-round knockout with a one-sided blowout of usually durable journeyman Paul Morby (6-10-1). Morby was down twice before the fight was waved off at 2:37. Buglioni, another rising star of British-Italian Pleiades, is certainly a fighter to watch in the near future.

In the opener, lightweight veteran Billy Morgan (5-0, no KOs) got the better of game veteran Mark Callaghan (19-26-1, 4 KOs) over four rounds with the sole score being 40-36. Callaghan, who lost his 15th straight bout, was rocked several times but never went down.
