Puerto Rican bantamweight prospect Emanuel "Bebo" Rivera improved his record to 6-1 (3KO) on Saturday evening with a brilliant Ko victory over home-grown Julio Concepcion in front of full house at the Teo Cruz Coliseum in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Hard-hitting newcomer O'Nell "La Bestia" Negron (8-0-1, 7KO) was forced to settle for his first non-KO win when Juan Encarnacion managed to get himself disqualified three rounds into their junior lightweight bout. While he has now won seven straight, Negron’s string of six straight knockouts comes to an end.

The performances of both winning fighters was enough to put a smile on the face of their promoter Hector Soto of H2 Entertainment, who hopes to bring them back to the ring before year’s end.

"O’Nell and Emanuel had both explosive performances. They should be fighting again in December.”
