Super bantamweights Efrain Esquivias and Christopher Martin will square off on July 25, Thompson Boxing Promotions matchmaker Alex Camponovo told Boxingscene.com on Thursday afternoon.

Camponovo is also the General Manager for the Southern California-based promotional company.

The bout will take place at the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, CA.

Both fighters are coming off a defeat in their last fight. After knocking out former world champion Rafael Marquez on September 7, Esquivias lost an eight round majority decision to Ruben Tamayo on April 25.

Esquivias (17-3, 10 KOs) resides in the Los Angeles suburb of Carson.

Martin has not fought since losing a one-sided eight round unanimous decision to Enrique Quevedo on October 18. The loss snapped a four-bout winning streak for Martin.

Originally from San Diego, Martin (27-3-3, 9 KOs) has notable victories over Chris Avalos, Charles Huerta, and Roberto Castaneda.

Also on the "Path to Glory" card, unbeaten bantamweight Carlos Carlson (14-0, 10 KOs) will face Jose Cen Torres (13-4, 1 KO) in an eight round bout.
