Upstart boxing organization Probellum presents its first major event Saturday evening, airing live globally Saturday from Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. Headlining the show, unbeaten IBF flyweight titlist Sunny Edwards (16-0, 4KOs) attempts his first title defense versus Philippines’ Jayson Mama (16-0, 9KOs).

The main portion of the show airs live on AXS TV in the United States (11:00 am ET/8:00 am PT), and on several other platforms around the world.

UNDERCARD RESULTS (streamed live on Probellum website)

Hasibullah Ahmadi pushed past a forgettable day at the scales with a memorable night in the ring, scoring a highlight reel fourth-round knockout of Nadir Baloch. A picture-perfect left hook flattened Pakistan’s Baloch (10-1, 8KOs), who was counted out at 2:43 of round four in their battle of unbeaten featherweights.

The fight came with a regional featherweight title at stake only for Baloch after Ahmadi came in more than two pounds above the featherweight limit. The unbeaten Dubai-based boxer—originally from Afghanistan—overcame the setback along with a strong start by Baloch to end matters in an instant. Ahmadi (14-0, 5KOs) slammed home a left hook, causing Baloch to fall flat on his back in center ring where he was issued the full ten-count.

Locally-based junior lightweight Fahad Al Bloushi (7-1, 2KOs) was as entertaining during his ringwalk as he was in the ring, scoring a third-round knockout of Ghana’s Kamarudeen Boyefio (11-10, 11KOs).

Al Bloushi performed the infamous “Carlton” dance to the backdrop of Tom Jones’ timeless classic ‘It’s Not Unusual’ before putting on his game face before the opening bell. The 25-year-old Dubai native floored Boyefio with a left hook body shot midway through round three, with an ensuing body attack along the ropes forcing the stoppage at 2:47 of that round.

Rohan Date (13-0, 9KOs) preserved his unblemished record following a six-round, unanimous decision victory over Spain's Kelvin Dotel (14-5, 7KOs). Scores were 60-53 on all three scorecards in favor of Date, an Irish junior welterweight from Manchester, England who now fights out of Dubai.

Sultan Al Nuaimi (6-0, 4KOs) remained perfect following a four-round shutout of India’s Sahil Rahman N (0-3, 0KOs). Scores were 40-36, 40-36 and 40-36 in favor of Dubai’s Al Nuaimi in the one-way super flyweight affair.
