EBU lightweight champion Edis Tatli (32-3) had surgery to fix his right shoulder earlier this week and his title defence against Italian challenger Gianluca Ceglia, that was set for August 8 in Savonlinna (Finland), is now postponed until a later date. 

Tatli-Ceglia was first scheduled for a May date but had to be moved due to Covid-19.

If the show as whole will go ahead is still an open question.

Professional boxing returns to the Czech republic on June 27 when former WBO and EBU super welterweight champion Lukas Konecny stages a quantity wise big event in Usti nad Labem on June 27.

On top of the bill are cruiserweights Vaclav Pejsar (14-9) and David Vicena (12-27-2) clash for the vacant national title. In the co-feature heavyweight Tomas Salek (11-2) take on still tough but somewhat worn journeyman Tomas Mrazaek (10-72-6).

There's all in all 16 fights scheduled and gives some of the country's many roadwarriors a chance to shine at home. The show is off-TV and will not be streamed either but some fights will be filmed and placed on YouTube later on.

Gallego Prada Promocionens in Barcelona (Spain) is looking to begin promoting again in August, writes Espabox. First up should be WBC Youth Silver super welterweight champ Tomi Silveinnonen (9-1) defending the title against Isaac Real (20-3-1).
