Revenge was sweet. Early on his career, Edgar Sosa lost two fights, and his undefeated record, to Archie Solis. But on Saturday night at the Multipurpose Center in Guadalajara, Jalisco - Sosa got his revenge with a knockout victory at 2:12 with a powerful left hook. When the fight started, Archie (36-3, 22 KOs) was able to connect two straight shots and kept his distance from Sosa (48-7, 29 KOs). In the second Sosa stayed patient and landed a massive left hand to put Sosa down and out. The match was a WBC flyweight eliminator.

"We practiced that left hook and thank God it worked, I feel very happy and satisfied with my victory, and now if I expect my representatives to get me the WBC flyweight world title fight," Sosa said.
