Promoter Eddie Hearn felt disgusted by John Fury's language during the recent UK media event for the upcoming pay-per-view clash between unbeaten rivals Tommy Fury and Jake Paul.

The fight takes place on December 18 in Florida.

There was backlash over John Fury's remarks regarding Jake Paul's girlfriend.

Paul participated by way of a video call. Tommy Fury was in attendance with older brother, WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury - but it was their father John who verbally exploded.

Even Tyson Fury, known for making controversial statements, was looking to end the presser before things got further out of hand, as he laughed and then stated - "Security, take the mic off John. Can we wrap up then? Before my dad gets himself in a world of trouble.”

BT Sport were forced to apologize for John Fury's remarks.

Hearn felt it was a bad look for everyone involved.

"I thought it was disgusting to be honest with you. You’ve got the younger generation watching that… Even, actually, for one time I felt a little bit for Frank Warren because I’ve been there on a much less cringe stage with KSI and Logan Paul. Frank was embarrassed. The language is terrible. I like beef, I love it, but for me it’s a bad look," Hearn told IFL TV.

“It was disgusting, it was tasteless, the language was terrible - but me saying that it’s ‘Oh it’s Eddie, it’s just because he’s not involved in the event’. I am over the moon that I am not involved in that. Trust me.

“The fight’s not bad, I don’t mind it, but the production and everything was so bad. It’s a bad look for boxing, BT knows that and Frank knows that, we know that - but it’s none of my business.”
