Bantamweight prospect Dylan Price won a hard-fought unanimous decision over Drew Correll Saturday in front of an announced sold-out crowd of over 600 at the Elevation Events Center in Chester, Pennsylvania.

Scores were 98-92, 98-92, and 99-91 for Price, who improves to 15-0, 10 knockouts. With the win, Price won the NBA bantamweight title.

Price, who resides in nearby Sicklerville, was giving up five inches in height to the southpaw Correll. Because of his long reach, Correll was able to win the opening round by keeping Price at distance.

As the bout progressed, Price was slowly able to get on the inside of Correll’s guard, where he was able to vary his offense and score with mostly two-punch combinations.

Price was able to stagger Correll in the sixth round, but Correll was able to weather the barrage punches to outbox and score during exchanges until the round ended. It was all Price the rest of the way, as he landed the more-effective punches. To his credit, Correll was game until the final bell sounded even as he took some powerful punches to the head and body.

The 23-year-old Price had not fought in almost a year, defeating Edwin Rodriguez by unanimous decision on July 31 of last year. Price also fought twice in 2021, scoring knockout wins over Samuel Gutierrez and Elias Joaquino.

Correll, who resides in Danville, Virginia, drops to 10-3, 8 KOs. He has lost three of his last four bouts, including to Cobia Breedy in June 2018.

In a clash of unbeaten super middleweights, Abimbola Osundairo improved to 2-0, 1 KO by knocking out of Chicago, Illinois knocked out Philadelphia’s Tariq Green (1-1) at 1:45 of the second round.

Junior middleweight Frankie Lynn of Chester was successful in his pro debut, stopping Prince Francis at 32 seconds of the opening round. Francis, who resides in East Orange, New Jersey, was also making his pro debut.

The card was co-promoted by Dr. David Price and his eldest daughter, Chantel. Dr. Price is also the father of Dylan Price.
