Carolina, Puerto Rico - Welterweight prospect Thomas Dulorme (9-0, 8KO's) is set to face Guillermo Valdes (12-2, 2KO'S) on the card "Diamond Elite," which is promoted by DiBella Entertainment and Gary Shaw Productions.

This card will be headlined by the Sergio "Maravilla" Martinez, who will face Sergei "Razor" Dzinziruk in a middleweight contest. The bout will be held on Saturday, March 12 at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut.

"I train hard every day to achieve my goals within the ring. I understand that if I keep doing my job I will be a world champion in the near future," said Dulorme who is promoted by Universal Promotions in association with Gary Shaw Productions and DiBella Entertainment.

Dulorme, differs from the typical stereotype of a boxer. He is a full-time student going for his BA in chemical engineering at the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico.

"Boxing is my passion and the force that makes me get up every morning, but one day it will come to an end and I must be ready when it arrives," said Dulorme.

"In life there are many talented fighters, but stars are born every day. If Dulorme follows the current train of his career, he will not have any problems going very far," said promoter Javier Bustillo, chairman of Universal Promotions.
