Unbeaten junior lightweight Duarn Vue will face late-sub Miguel Angel Mendoza tonight, manager Maurice Muhammad advised BoxingScene.com.

The 12 round bout will take place at the Alliant Energy Center in Vue’s hometown of Madison, Wisconsin.

Vue (11-0-2, with 4 KOs) stopped Lance Williams in the second round of his last bout on January 20. The 30-year-old Vue has won his last three bouts since a disputed draw against Jerren Cochran in February of last year.

Vue is facing Mendoza, who took the fight earlier this week when original opponent Carlos Ruiz could not secure a visa to enter the U.S.

The hard-hitting Mendoza (23-11-2, with 22 KOs) has lost his last three bouts and four of his last five. Amongst those losses were to Robert Easter, Mercito Gesta, Alberto Machado, and Giovani Santillan.

Milwaukee resident Deonte Wilson (5-2, with 3 KOs), who is also managed by Muhammad, squares off Corben Page (5-12-1) in an eight round lightweight bout.

Cruiserweight Dennis Morris (13-2, with 11 KOs) will face Lamar Harris (9-12-4, with 5 KOs) in an eight round bout.
