IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook (36-0, 25KOs) could be in a lot of trouble when he steps in the ring with WBC/IBO/IBF/WBA middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (35-0, 32KOs), according to WBC cruiserweight 'champion in recess' Grigory Drozd.

The fight takes place on September 10th at the O2 Arena in London. Brook will head

Brook jumps up by two divisions and thirteen pounds to challenge Golovkin for his four world titles. Golovkin is a huge betting favorite to win the contest.

Drozd is very familiar with both fighters and sees a lot of things that Golovkin can take advantage of. He also feels Golovkin would be a heavy favorite to beat Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez - but also gives Canelo a shot at pulling off the upset.

"Brook is a good boxer, but frankly I do not give him much of a chance in the fight against Golovkin. Brook is resourceful, he is not badly trained, but sometimes he puts too much emphasise on his left hand, and forgets to do certain technical things and in that in the battle against Golovkin - that's going to be a big problem. The undisputed favorite in this fight is Gennady Golovkin," Drozd said.

"It would be great if Gennady would win all of the titles at middleweight, but I think everybody understands that in this division there are no worthy opponents for Golovkin. But in general, of course, a unification bout for the four belts would be very interesting."

"Of course, it is a strange situation [with Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez vacating]. Illogical. It seemed that this fight was being discussed seriously and was about to be announced, that it would take place, but in the end we saw the failure of the negotiations. I do not know the situation from within, but from this side it looks like the WBC left the door open for Canelo to walk away, and he just took the opportunity to get out of the fight."

"Therefore, we see a barrage of criticism hit Alvarez including from the Mexican fans. And I do not think that Alvarez wouldn't have a chance in this fight. He can fight well in mid-range and has a good punch, which could become a serious weapon. Alvarez is an experienced boxer, and though Golovkin would be the favorite in this fight - the Mexican can not be written off. -
