Before starting the press conference, Donaire, who will take part in his first fight in Japan, called for a handshake with Inoue and the two greeted each other.

Donaire and Inoue have been known since 2014. Inoue, since his time as an amateur boxer in high school, idolized Donaire.

In 2014 at the Ohashi Boxing Gym City of Yokohama, Donaire was helping Inoue, who at the time was physically preparing himself to face the super flyweight world champion of the WBO, Argentina's Omar Narvaez - who Inoue blew away in two rounds.

Nonito has had many visits to Japan and has been studying much the culture of the Japanese people and the traditional mentality of the country, especially of Bushido (way of the Samurai). Bushido is not a religion, but it is a morality to live strong and have courageous faith. Bushido consists of seven virtues such as honesty, courage, compassion, respect, loyalty, honesty.

"I feel very motivated and incredibly excited and exciting to jump into a fight with Naoya Inoue in Japan, which is a beautiful country that has educated me spiritually," Donaire said.

"It gives me joy and satisfaction because I can fight in Japan. There is a huge sense of wonder to see if I can deal with a great fighter like Naoya Inoue, who will force me to bring out all of my qualities as a boxer. I know that Naoya Inoue is the favorite due to his youth. But, I have a lot of determination to reverse the odds, and for that I will fully dedicate myself to the maximum level with my physical preparations.

"We are both gifted fighters with speed and power and intelligence. The one who commits the first mistake in the ring, he will lose. I can tell you that this fight could be long like a game of chess."

Donaire shows inspired to devote his duel with Naoya Inoue pugilistic all Japanese fans and universal boxing public.
