Unbeaten fighters Dominique Crowder and Steven Galeano continue to impress manager Adam Glenn. More victories could lead to both becoming legit prospects in their respective divisions.

Crowder and Galeano defeated their respective opposition in their last fight April 10 at the Thomas Gymnastics Trainer Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

The 27-year-old Crowder, a junior featherweight, defeated former bantamweight contender Jesus Martinez by unanimous decision over 8 rounds. No scores were announced.

With the win, Crowder, who resides in Baltimore, Maryland, improves to 9-0, 6 knockouts.

Crowder was dominant throughout most of the fight, connecting the more-effective combinations. Crowder stunned Martinez to the head and body during the second half of the fight.

“Dominique looked sharp and strong all the way through and outboxed Martinez in every round,” Glenn told BoxingScene. “He mixed up his attack and looked dominant.”

Martinez, who is originally from Monteria, Colombia and now resides in Hollywood, Florida, drops to 28-13, 14 KOs. The 40-year-old has lost 10 of his last 14 bouts.

Galeano notched another knockout victory, stopping Hugo Padilla after round 3. Galeano, a junior welterweight who resides in the Bronx, New York, improves to 7-0, 6 KOs.

The 22-year-old hurt Padilla multiple times throughout the fight, prompting referee Bill Clancy to stop fight after round 3 to prevent Padilla from taking further punishment.

“Steven stayed patient and poised,” said Glenn. “He placed his shots well and Steven got the TKO with an opponent who rarely ever gets stopped.”

Padilla, who resides in Aguascalientes, Mexico, dropped to 5-20-1, 2 KOs.
