One of the most prominent Russian welterweight boxers, Dmitry "The Mechanic" Mikhaylenko (21-1, 9 KO's) will return to the ring on November 18 in Yekaterinburg.

His twelve round main event fight will become the central event of the show, which is organized by the promoting company Titov Boxing Promotions and will take place at the DIVS Arena.

Initially, the 30-year old Russian was scheduled to fight American former two-division world champion Randall Bailey (46-9, 39 KOs). But it so happened that Bailey was not capable of getting down in time to make the welterweight limit. Bailey is reportedly at 157 pounds and having trouble getting down any lower. Bailey's team was forced to abandon the fight.

In the shortest amount of time, a replacement was found for Bailey. To Yekaterinburg comes the always dangerous Colombian puncher Breidis Prescott (30-8, 22 KOs). Mikhaylenko was not looking for an easy replacement, and Prescott is a powerful puncher like Bailey.

But the main victory in Prescott's career came in 2008 - when in the first round he knocked out undefeated Briton Amir Khan. In July of this year, Prescott was stopped in seven rounds by Levan Ghvamichava. He picked up a stay busy victory on October 22 when he knocked out Miguel Suarez in six rounds in Colombia.

Mikhaylenko is trying to get his career back on track after losing a shocking upset decision to unknown Charles Manyuchi in May. Prior to the loss, the Russian fighter was on his way to bigger things after making his HBO televised debut on January 30th with a win over Karim Mayfield.
