BoxingScene.com has been advised that a welterweight contest between Dmitry Mikhaylenko and Johan Perez has been finalized as the co-feature on August 8th from the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California.

This fight will be televised on HBO Latino and will feature the first title defense of IBF bantamweight champion, Randy Caballero.

Mikhaylenko, who is promoted by Main Events, has a record of 19-0, 8 KO's. Perez has a mark of 20-2-1, 13 KO's.

Perez lost a twelve round majority decision to Mauricio Herrera last July, but bounced back with a win in January against Humberto Guttierez.  Mikhaylenko is coming up in the ranks with wins last year over Sechew Powell and Ronald Cruz.
