Denis Boytsov’s condition is slowly improving but the fighter is still in coma, according to sources in Germany.

Boytsov was found in critical condition with a severe head trauma and damaged hands on May 3 in a Berlin train tunnel. Police immediately started an investigation, but soon it was reported as being an accident, and not a criminal incident.

It was also reported that Boytsov was going to be taken out of an induced medical coma by the middle of May. That was never was the case.

“Denis is still the same but his edema is slowly dissipating. He is in stable condition but doctors can’t yet make any predictions. The police continues their investigation”, said his pregnant wife Olga to R-Sport.

Olga Boytsov is expected to give a birth in June.

“Everything is stable. I’m trying to deal with this," added the fighter’s wife.
