Demetrius Andrade has been forced to settle for another low-profile title defense.

Unable to land middleweight title unification fights against IBF/IBO champ Gennadiy Golovkin or WBC champ Jermall Charlo, Andrade has agreed to face Jason Quigley on November 19. The 12-round, 160-pound championship bout between Andrade and Quigley will headline DAZN’s stream from SNHU Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire.

The left-handed Andrade, a 2008 U.S. Olympian from Providence, Rhode Island, will defend his WBO middleweight title in New England for the second time since he won it nearly three years ago.

“November 19, it’s me again,” Andrade said in a press release sent out Monday morning by DAZN and Matchroom Boxing. “Jason Quigley, world rated, good amateur pedigree, decent skills, comes to fight, and hats off to him, he’s actually willing to step in the ring with me, which you can’t say for any of these other so-called top guys. On November 19, though, I show him that there are levels to this game.”

The Andrade-Quigley undercard will include three world title fights.

In the co-feature, Uzbekistan’s Murodjon Akhmadaliev (9-0, 7 KOs) will defend his IBF and WBA 122-pound championships against Ronny Rios (33-3, 16 KOs), of Santa Ana, California. Earlier November 19, Mexico’s Julio Cesar Martinez (18-1, 14 KOs, 1 NC) and Puerto Rico’s McWilliams Arroyo (21-4, 16 KOs) will finally fight in their rescheduled showdown for Martinez’s WBC world flyweight title.

The first title fight November 19 will pit Providence’s Kali Reis (18-7-1, 5 KOs), the IBO/WBA 140-pound champion, against Montreal’s Jessica Camara (8-2, 0 KOs) in a 10-rounder. The vacant WBO junior welterweight title also will be at stake in the Reis-Camara match.

ESPN.com’s Mike Coppinger first reported the news of this November 19 card Sunday on Twitter.

In the main event, Andrade, 33, will make an optional defense of his WBO middleweight title against Quigley. Ireland’s Quigley, 30, is the WBO’s 10th-ranked contender for Andrade’s championship.

Andrade will return to the ring seven months after making a mandated defense of his WBO belt against Liam Williams on April 17 at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Andrade dropped Wales’ Williams (23-3-1, 18 KOs) in the second round and defeated his gritty challenger comfortably on all three scorecards (118-109, 118-109, 116-111).

The right-handed Quigley has won three straight fights since Tureano Johnson stopped him two years ago. The Bahamas’ Johnson (21-3-1, 15 KOs) beat Quigley by technical knockout because Quigley couldn’t answer the bell for the 10th and final round in July 2019 at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, California.

Quigley most recently edged Shane Mosley Jr. by majority decision in a 10-rounder May 29 in Las Vegas. He out-pointed Mosley (17-4, 10 KOs) on two scorecards – 97-93, 96-94 and 95-95 – in their closely contested fight at Mandalay Bay’s Michelob ULTRA Arena.

“I’ve worked my whole career to get into this position of becoming world champion,” Quigley said. “Demetrius is a great champion, but now it’s my time and that world title is coming back to Ireland.”
