WBC lightweight champion Antonio DeMarco (28-2-1, 21KOs) paid close attention to Adrien Broner's past fight with Daniel Ponce De Leon. Broner (24-0, 20KOs) had a very tough time with Ponce De Leon last March, and won a close ten round unanimous decision. Some ringside observers scored the fight for Ponce De Leon.

On Saturday night at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, DeMarco will defend his title against Broner.

"Every fight and every fighter is different. But we did take a little [from that fight] to see what we can get and to see the places where he is vulnerable. In my mind I'm well prepared. In my mind is only winning And I have the solution for 'The Problem,'" DeMarco said.

DeMarco also felt his match with the late Edwin Valero was a bigger opportunity than Broner. Valero scored a ninth round stoppage over DeMarco in 2009.

"This fight is important for my career, but I've had bigger commitments before, like with Edwin Valero. And that will help me, the experience, to get in the ring with more confidence. But we know it is a difficult and a tough fight," DeMarco said.
