Madison Square Garden, New York City - Junior middleweight Delvin Rodriguez (26-5-3, 14KOs) won a clear ten round unanimous decision over Pawel Wolak (29-2-1, 19KOs) . The scores were 98-91, 98-92 and 100-90.

In July, they fought to a ten round majority draw. The action was non-stop and their first meeting is a serious contender for "Fight of The Year" honors.

Rodriguez looked strong at the start. He was outboxing and outlanding Wolak with ease. In the fourth, Rodriguez started giving Wolak a beating with multiple hard combinations landing flush. The rematch was a far cry from the first meeting. Rodriguez fought smart and continued to catch Wolak coming in nearly every time. Wolak couldn't get off with his punches and allowed Rodriguez to move him around.

Around the seventh round, Rodriguez appeard to slow down a little while Wolak was comimg forward and trying to hunt him down. Rodriguez would spin away from the ropes almost every time and tried to keep Wolak in the center of the ring.

Wolak rallied well in the late rounds. Rodriguez answered back with every charge, while outlanding and outworking Wolak during close exchanges.

In the tenth and final round, Rodriguez had Wolak in trouble after he unloaded with a lot of flush punches to Wolak's head. At certain points Rodriguez was measuring Wolak and landing big punches with both hands and the referee was getting close to stopping it. Wolak was close to going down in the closing seconds but stayed on his feet.
