Mesquita sports an impressive winning record having won all thirty-three of his professional fights to date, twenty-seven of them by way of knockout, and is recognized as a top Welterweight contender. After racking up a record thirty wins, Mesquita took a year and half long leave-of-absence from Boxing to tend to a personal family matter in August 2004. Desiring to finish the job he started, Mesquita decided to stage a comeback and is determined to make his dream of becoming World Champion a reality. His first comeback fight took place on February 16, 2006 at the Ogden Eccles Conference Center where he KO'ed Luiz Da Silva, a long-time nemesis. A rejuvenated Mesquita has won all his fights since then by knockout.

Originally from Guaruja, Brazil, Antonio Mesquita now resides in St. George, Utah but trains out of Las Vegas, Nevada, in the world famous Johnny Toccos Gym. Mesquita moved to the United State to step up the level of both his training and competition after a year and a half layoff. In his last outing in the ring, a fight televised nationally on ESPN2, Mesquita steamrolled Santos Pakau in 6 rounds, dropping Pakau several times before the fight was mercifully stopped.

Lou Del Valle is looking to rebound his career from a setback last fall against Cleveland Ohio's Zack Page. Known as "Honey Boy", Lou Del Valle of Miami, Florida was born on July 13, 1968 in Long Island, New York. Del Valle turned pro in 1992 and won his first 22 bouts, setting up a shot against long-time WBA Light Heavyweight Title holder Virgil Hill in 1996. Hill won a close unanimous decision. In 1997 Del Valle won the vacant WBA against Eddy Smulders on Smulders' home turf in Germany. Lou returned home to a lucrative title unification bout with Roy Jones. Despite losing the fight, Del Valle became the first man to knock down Roy Jones, proving his punching power. Following the failed unification attempt, Del Valle came up short in attempting to regain his WBA title, drawing the first time and losing a controversial split decision to Bruno Girard in France. In his last outing, overweight and out of shape Del Valle lost a decision to Zack Page. Del Valle had won four straight before the loss to Page. Del Valle tipped the scales 197 lbs in the Page fight. Now rededicated to the sport, Del Valle is ready to go on a run to recapture his championship. Del Valle had won four straight before the loss to Page.
