According to sources in Poland, the super middleweight bout between Piotr ''The Wolf'' Wilczewski (29-1, 10 KO) and James DeGale (10-1, 8 KO) has not been finalized by the Polish fighter's team. DeGale's promoter, Frank Warren, announced the deal was done, but the European champion's team is still waiting for the contract. And, they want an agreement where Warren would reimburse their expenses in the event of DeGale's withdrawal. There is also talk that George Groves (13-0, 10 KO) is  trying to get the fight with Wilczewski.

Wilczewski vs DeGale was booked for July. Everything changed after Groves' upset victory over DeGale. Adam Booth's fighter, Groves, was offered a shot at Wilczewski, but Booth was heavily involved with David Haye's preparations for the Klitschko fight - so the talks were postponed and Warren's people made their second approach for Wilczewski.
