Mapping out the super middleweight division, IBF world champion James DeGale (21-1, 14KOs) tabs WBA champion Andre Ward as the obvious division leader. Then he rates himself and last Saturday's opponent, Andre Dirrell, as the next best of the bunch.

Ward returns, for the first time since the fall of 2013, on June 20th when he faces Paul Smith at a catch-weight of 172-pounds.

DeGale made history on Saturday in Boston, when he became the first British boxer to capture an Olympic gold medal and then move forward to win a world title in the professional ranks. He won a twelve round unanimous decision over Dirrell, but it wasn't easy. Two judges scored it 114-112, which signals that DeGale big second round where he scored two knockdowns (10-7) was the big difference.

In victory, DeGale sees Dirrell as the best fighter in the division next to Ward. He says fighters like Carl Froch, George Groves, Badou Jack and others fall below them.

"Me and [Dirrell] are the two best super middleweights in the world. Obviously there is Andre Ward, but then there is me and [Dirrell] - we're next in line. We're two skillful fighters," DeGale said.
