James DeGale and George Groves performed the draw for Prizefighter Super-Middleweights II, which takes place at Liverpool Olympia on March 23.
The super-middleweight pair announced their clash in May today and joined Matchroom Sport’s Eddie Hearn on the show to decide the fate of the eight fighters in the 17th edition of the eight-man, one night tournaments, live on Sky Sports.
Patrick J Maxwell kicks off the night against Scotsman Kenny Anderson and the winner of that bout between will face either Liverpool’s Joe Ainscough or tough Sheffield fighter Wayne Reed. The bottom half of the draw sees former World Champion Robin Reid fight unbeaten Welsh prospect Tobias Webb – Reid could potentially face fellow Liverpudlian Carl Dilks who faces Leicester boxer Jahmaine Smyle in the fourth quarter-final.
