Undefeated heavyweight sensation David Price 14-0 (12KOs) can’t seem to escape the mention of a future showdown with Tyson Fury.  Since knocking out Audley Harrison last Saturday in Liverpool, the exciting new machine gun of the division is receiving plenty of praise from all over the world of boxing.

Fury on the other hand, showed his anger and displeasure in a viral interview on Price’s victory and what promoter Frank Maloney had to say about him on Saturday night.  Price is not fazed by Fury though and told WBN that he finds his antics to be very funny.

“I think he’s a bit of a comedian. He’s made a big fool of himself in what he was saying on national TV and on Youtube,“ Price told World Boxing News.

“It’s good because I want him to keep talking and I’m hoping the fight happens.  I’ll let my fists do the talking.

“People want to see me fight because I’m an exciting fighter to watch and I knock people out.  People want to watch Tyson Fury because of his mouth.”

“The fact that he is so angry is telling me that he must jealous of me for what I’m doing at the moment and the attention I am receiving. He has more than one personality. He must have about five different personalities, one for every day of the week. He changes them like I change my underwear.”

Price already has an upcoming defense of his Lonsdale belt against former Commonwealth and British champion Matt Skelton on December 8th and wishes to defend his title a few more times to keep it outright and add it to his trophy case.

It could be the summer and beyond before the bout that the public craves happens and even with much time before Price opposes Fury in the ring, he gave WBN his prediction on the outcome of a future encounter.

“Now if the fight ever does come off, I’d be delighted because I know it would be a win for me, and an easy one at that. I’d do something similar to Tyson Fury to what I’ve done to Audley Harrison.

“The fact is the fight is not going to happen for at least 12 months. So I don’t really want to waste my time arguing with Tyson Fury or listening to what he has to say. But definitely a fight that interests me in the future.

“Without a doubt it would be a win for me by KO. Tyson Fury is getting put on his back by non-punching heavyweights. I consider myself to be one of the biggest punching heavyweights out there and I can land my punches accurately. There is no way he’d stand up to them. “
