David Price will have a warm-up fight before he fights in his home city again.

The Liverpool heavyweight has a confirmed spot on the undercard of gym-mate Tony Bellew’s WBC cruiserweight world title defence against colourful Californian BJ Flores, live on Sky Sports, on October 15.

But before ‘Pricey’ takes to the stage at the ECHO Arena again, for the first time in over three years since the second defeat to Tony Thompson in July, 2013, he will fight abroad as he looks to continue his comeback following the devastating knockout he suffered at the hands of drugs cheat Erkan Teper last year.

Beijing 2008 Olympic bronze medal winner Price, 33, will feature on the same card as London 2012 Olympic bronze medallist Anthony Ogogo on October 1 in Germany.

The pair are set for action at the Jahnsportforum in Neubrandenburg, as part of the undercard to the WBA light-heavyweight title fight between Juergen Braehmer and Nathan Cleverly, which is live on Sky Sports in the UK and SAT.1 in Germany.

Elsewhere on the card, Enrico Koelling will defend his WBA Inter-Continental light-heavyweight title against Ryno Liebenberg, with further names to be added in due course.
