The light heavyweight fight between Pachino Hill and Suray Mahmutovic pitted two unbeaten prospects against one another, and they had just four rounds to show who had the more promising future.

But more rounds were desired from the judges as well to award a definitive winner, as both boxers fought to a majority decision. One judge had it 39-38 for Mahmutovic, and the other two scored it 38-38.

The 23-year-old Mahmutovic survived a flash knockdown in the third when Hill dropped the Northern California native with a clubbing and short left hook. But Hill did little else in the round, or in the fight, to pursue hurting his foe any further.

Mahmutovic (4-0-1, 3 KOs) got the better of Hill throughout the scrap by using a four-inch height advantage to get off first and at range with a strong jab, outlanding Hill 59 to 33.

Hill (6-0-1, 5 KOs) primarily focused on the body, where almost half of his punches landed. The Davenport, Iowa native Hill was fighting for the first time outside of the Hawkeye State. He was a high school letterman in football and basketball.

Hector Luis Garcia Survives Flash Knockdown To Score Unanimous Decision Against Isaac Avelar

In the fight before, Hector Luis Garcia was surprisingly dropped in the first round by a right hook by Isaac Avelar, but he picked himself off the canvas to pick up a unanimous decision win to remain undefeated.

The 2016 Dominican Republic Olympian Garcia adjusted to weather the early storm to seize control of the fight soon after, leaning on a sharp right jab, left hook and attack to the body to comfortably win the fight after facing the early scare Saturday at The Armory in Minneapolis.

The Ismael Salas-trained Garcia was awarded scores of 78-73 from all three judges in the eight-round junior lightweight fight.

Garcia (14-0, 10 KOs) outlanded Aguilar (16-4, 10 KOs) throughout every round and more than doubled Aguilar in total punches landed, 159 to 77. Garcia also threw 142 more punches (462) than Aguilar and landed 34% of his shots.

Garcia is 30-years-old but is still considered a prospect. He made his pro debut in December 2016 and has fought in the United States just twice.

The 24-year-old Aguilar, from Aguascalientes, Mexico, had some nice moments throughout the fight outside of the first, but certainly not enough to pile on any points on the cards outside of the first.

The fight was televised as the opening bout on the PBC on FS1 card headlined by Richardson Hitchins and Malik Hawkins. The broadcast was a separate precursor to the FOX televised super middleweight scrap between David Morrell and Alantez Fox.
