Former two-division world champion David Haye is preparing himself for the verbal bombs that are going to come his way from domestic rival Tyson Fury. Haye faces Fury on February 8th in Machester. They were originally scheduled to fight on Saturday night, but Haye suffered a cut in sparring and the fight had to be postponed. Leading up to the orginal date, Fury was verbally attacking Haye in the press on a daily basis. Haye expects more of the same.

"That's the only thing that has put a little smile on my face - the fact that I've got a solid date," Haye told Sky Sports Ringside. "It's really annoying because I didn't anticipate to think about Tyson Fury over Christmas, New Year or even 2014.

"The whole Tyson Fury chapter was going to be closed, well and truly on Saturday night, about a round-and-a-half into the fight. The Tyson Fury hype was going to be completely finished and we'd never really had spoken of him again. But now we've got to listen to this idiot, the guy continuously rant on with his stupid comments. I'll try not to let him ruin my Christmas!"
