WBA heavyweight champion David Haye is ready to swap big punches before he quits the fight game on his 31st birthday in October. Haye is desperate to leave a lasting legacy to boxing and his masterplan is to fight WBO/IBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko on June 25 or July 2 in Germany – which is nearly finalized – and then take on older brother Vitali to add the WBC title in the fall.

On Saturday, Wladimir pulled out of his planned April fight with Londoner Dereck Chisora, paving the way for a match-up with Haye in the summer.

And Haye said: “They can have their name first on the billing, they can enter the ring before me and they can do anything they want because all that matters is what happens in the ring. All I need is a referee who can count to ten. Before I retire I want to fight Wladimir and then Vitali."

"Whatever happens, my legacy will be up there alongside the best – especially when you take into consideration what I achieved as undisputed world cruiserweight champion as well. You can’t deny that I’ve fought the best – the best there was in their own backyards at cruiserweight. I have never dodged anyone. I was happy to enter the ring with the main contenders for the title."
