Former champion Danny Green (31-5, 27KOs) is still interested in avenging his 2006 decision loss to Anthony Mundine (43-4, 25KOs). Their fight is still considered as the "biggest event in Australian boxing history."

When they fought in 2006, the fight took place at super middleweight. Talks to make a rematch have always fallen apart and too much time has passed.

There might be too much weight between them to make the possibility of a rematch realistic. Mundine has since moved down two divisions, to 154-pounds. And Green has moved by two divisions, to the 200-pound limit at cruiserweight.

"Definitely I would consider it because it's a fight I think would eclipse the first one and that was the biggest in this country's history," said Green to West Australian.

"So many people want to see that fight and to see it on more of an even keel as far as weight goes. For me, it would just correct what happened in the first one. Obviously financially it would be a great windfall and it would generate a lot of excitement."

Mundine, the WBA's interim-champion at 154, is in line for a title shot at 154. Green was knocked out in his last two fights, against Antonio Tarver and Krzysztof Wlodarczyk.
