On the 20th of July in Australia, Antonio Tarver (28-6, 19 KOs) will attempt to become the first American boxer to defeat Danny Green (31-3, 27KO), the current IBO world cruiserweight champion The fight happens at the Entertainment Center in Sydney. Green has turned back the American challenges of Roy Jones Jr. and BJ Flores, with a first round TKO over Jones and twelve round decision over the previously unbeaten Flores. He expects an even harder fight with Tarver.

"It will be a great fight for me and everyone in Australia. Antonio Tarver, in the future, will go to the Hall of Fame of professional boxing. I'm training very hard because he can not be underestimated. The American is four-time champion of the world. He was the absolute champion in the light heavyweight division, and won honors for his achievements in Ring magazine. He even tried his hand at heavyweight, so I have to be ready mentally and physically. I am in good health and I can not wait for the next challenge of my career," Green said.
