This Saturday night from the Barclay Center in Brooklyn, New York, Vyacheslav 'Czar' Glazkov faces Charles Martin for the vacant IBF heavyweight title. They are fighting for a belt that was stripped from Tyson Fury - who won the belt on November 28th against Wladimir Klitschko - who has a rematch clause with the former champion that precluded him from fulfilling his IBF mandatory obligation against Glazkov.

With that, a bout between Glazkov and Charles Martin (ranked fourth by the organization) was ordered by the IBF.

Glazkov (21-0-1, 13KOs) admits that he had no clue who Martin (22-0-1, 20KOs) was coming into this match-up as it was announced.

"I never heard of him," he admitted, through his manager Egis Klimas on Thursday afternoon,"but it doesn't mean that he's not a good fighter but right now, I know he's a tough guy, a southpaw, he's a strong guy, a little slow. That's all I know."

Glazkov earned the mandatory position in the IBF by defeating Steve Cunningham last March, in what was a rather dreary, slow-paced fight. Many observers believed Cunningham did more than enough to get his hands raised in victory.

"I saw the mistakes, what I did wrong, I worked on those things and every single bout I'm working on them,"said Glazkov, in looking back at that fight.

Since that bout, he stopped Kertson Manswell in four rounds back on August 15th in Russia.

He promises that this weekend versus Martin,"I'm planning to be more aggressive."
