Curtis "Showtime" Stevens (17-2, 12KOs), one-half of the Chin Checkers, has informed BoxingScene.com of his recent promotional signing with Joe DeGuardia's Star Boxing.
Stevens has been out of the ring since an HBO televised decision loss to Andre Dirrell last June. After parting with promoter Lou DiBella, Stevens took some time off to weigh his comeback options.
He tells BoxingScene that a ring return is in the works for February 28. More details about the return to follow.
"I feel good to have finally signed with a promoter. I've been off for seven-months and I'm ready to get back in the ring," Stevens said.
