Curtis "Showtime" Stevens (17-2, 12KOs) is calling out Omar Sheika (27-8, 18KOs) for a war at any time, any place, and at any weight.

Recently Sheika called out Stevens' Chin Checker partner, Jaidon Codrington. Condrington is presently having trouble with his hands, but Stevens is more than ready to answer the call. Stevens has not fought since a decision loss to Andre Dirrell last June. Stevens, fighting as a middleweight, tells BoxingScene.com that he's willing to meet Sheika at the light heavyweight limit of 175-pounds.

"Omar Sheika is calling out Jaidon Codrington because he saw his fight with (Sakio) Bika. Well right now Jaidon is having hand problems, but if he (Sheika) wants a toe-to-toe bang out - I will fight him! And the beauty of it is that Sheika won't have to come down to meet me, I will go up to 175-pounds or wherever to meet him," Stevens said. "I haven't been in the ring in eight months and I will beat the fire out of Omar. I've been training and I feel like I did when I was in the amateurs. Tell Sheika to get at me."
