WBC super flyweight champion Carlos “Principe” Cuadras has vowed to defeat Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez when they clash on September 10 for the 112 pound belt of Cuadras.

In a teleconference, beamed to the weekly World Boxing Council presser, Cuadras vowed to march over Roman Gonzalez's dreams at The Forum in Inglewood, California.

The WBC reports that “aware of the empirical importance  of this fight, Cuadras is ready to rumble and trample in the ring, dishing out some dollops of bitter tasting  “medicine” to Roman Gonzalez, to prove he's super better than a fly by night.”

The champion promised to be a "Speedy Gonzalez" in his own right, as he is well aware Roman is not an easy fighter to KO.

Carlos claimed this  fight has generated “even more seismic expectation, than that of  Golovkin vs. Kell Brook - which takes place on the same day at the O2 Arena in London where the Philippines IBF champion Johnreil Casimero defends his title against unbeaten Charlie Edwards who will be in only his 9th pro bout.

Cuadras told the WBC conference call, “I feel so happy, this fight is the most important of my career, and naturally my incorporation to the American market.  I will prove I've got lots of goodies to give."

The odds do not bother Cuadras (35-0-1, 27 KOs). He's aiming to prove everyone, especially Gonzalez (45-0, 38 KOs), wrong.

"The statistics are always wrong in this sport. I tell bettors who see 'Chocolatito' as the favorite to bet on me and earn good money, because they are paying five to one. I have the medicine to beat Chocolatito. Actually, I have the whole pharmacy. The odds don't bother. I only see two things, myself being the champion and having the power to put Chocolatito away," Cuadras said.
