Mexico, Cancun Quintana Roo - In a battle of former world champion Cristian "Diamante" Mijares (56-8-2, 26 KO's) won a unanimous decision victory over Tomas "Gusano" Rojas (48-15-1, 32 KO's) in Veracruz in the main event of a Televisa card from the crowded "Oasis Arena Cancun".

Judge Euberto Diaz scored is 96-93, Oscar Calderón scored 96-94 and Eliseo Gonzalez Jr. scored 95-94.

Over 2,000 fans were yelling strong for each fighter. The chants were  heard repeatedly, voices that sent them to war as the brave warriors engaged in a real give and take battle.

Edgar "Power" Jiménez offered a great fight, but it was not enough to stop the impressive run of Aaron "Ghost" Alameda, who extended his streak to 19 contests without defeat since the 5th of April of 2014. Alameda won by unanimous decision with cards of 77-75, 79-73 and 79-73, in co-star of the evening.

Yesenia "Niña" Gómez (13-4-1, 6 KO's) and Mexico's "Jacky" Calvo (10-2-1, 1 KO) fought to a six round flyweight draw.

In a fight of constant exchanges, Iván "Macanón" Cano (25-8-2, 15 KO's) won an eight round unanimous decision over José Luis "Homie" Aguilar (8-2-1, 1 KO) in a super lightweight battle.

Roberto "Massa" Ortiz (35-1-1, 26 KO's) scored a unanimous decision victory over Guadalupe "Bronco" Rosales (33-12-0, 18 KO's). It was a tough brawl where Ortiz was surprised in more than one exchange. The scores were 78-73, 77-74 and 77-73. Ortiz knocked down Rosales in the sixth round, when he connected him with a big right hand.

José "Charalito" Rivas (13-10-4, 6 KO's) defeated Eduardo "Amenaza" Martinez (13-4-1, 2 KO's) by TKO at 2 minutes and 36 seconds of the seventh round, when Referee José Pacheco determined to end the fight after Martinez hit the deck for a second time.
