Thomas “Cornflake” LaManna (34-5-1) will look to win his 5th consecutive bout when he faces Alberto Mosquera (27-5-2) on March 11th.

The showdown will headline a Boxlite Promotions card that will take place at the Avanti Palms Resort in Orlando, Florida. The WBA Fedelatin middleweight title will be at stake in their bout.

LaManna hopes to keep building momentum towards another shot at a world title.

“I’m excited to come to Orlando, I was just there for the WBA Convention in December. It is a beautiful city and big boxing town,” LaManna told BoxingScene.com. “Mosquera is a former title challenger like me, so I’m expecting a high level fight for however long it lasts. I have had a good return, and it’s still all eyes on a world title.”

His last fight took place in December when he stopped a Francisco Cordero in 4 rounds in the Dominican Republic.

LaManna has also now enlisted the services of Derek “Bozy” Ennis as his trainer. Ennis comes from a fighting family and is best known for training his son, the highly rated welterweight contender, Jaron “Boots” Ennis.

“On March 11th everyone will see what Bozy and I are working on in the gym. The best of me is yet to come,” said the 31-year-old LaManna.
