One Punch Productions has released the very sad news today that jr. lightweight Cordaro Simpkins was killed last night in a shooting in Virginia Beach. Simpkins (5-1), was a top amateur in the Virginia / Washington DC area who's pro career had only just begun.

Simpkins is survived by his father Daniel Lamb, his mother Wanda Revels, Stepmother Deberrah Hart, Stepfather Reynard Revels, Brothers Daniel Lamb Jr., Christopher Lamb, David Lamb, and countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Details of the shooting are thin at the moment, and anyone with any information is encouraged  to contact the Virginia Beach Police Department.

One Punch President Terry J. Trekas described Simpkins as "a really good kid, not involved with all the street nonsense we see so much of these days. I cant even imagine what his family is going through right now" said Trekas.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been determined, but will be released when finalized.
