O2 Arena, London - Welterweight Conor Benn (6-0-0, 4KOs) scores a third round technical knockout of Mike Cole (4-0-1, 1KO) in his first fight for seven months.

The 20-year-old 'Destroyer' has taken time out to sharpen his game and looked classy as he slipped and countered with purpose against the previously undefeated Cole.

A relaxed Benn dropped Cole, 29, with a straight right in the second and then finished the job 44 seconds into round three with another pinpoint right hand in centre ring.

With dad Nigel, 53, announcing a fight against Steve Collins later this year, fans will soon be able to catch a double dose of Benn action.

An impressive Ted Cheeseman (8-0-0, 6KOs) wins the English super welterweight title with third round technical knockout of Matthew Ryan (14-1-0, 2KOs).

Bermondsey-based Cheeseman, 21, sent Ryan to the canvas with an uppercut to left hook combo before sending the champion down again with a right hand as Ryan tried to cover up in the corner.

Manchester man Ryan bravely tried to get to his feet for a second time but the referee felt he was in no position to continue and waved it off 1.22 into round three.

In a bout that also served as a British title eliminator, it was  Cheeseman who was the fastest out of the blocks, hardly wasting any shots as he pushed Ryan back in search of a quick finish.

The aptly named 'Big Cheese had his opponent in trouble with a left to the body in round two before finishing the job in the following round to claim his first professional title.

London's Lawrence Okolie (3-0-0, 3KOs) chalks up his fourth consecutive first round stoppage with a swift technical knockout of Russ Henshaw (7-5-0, 2KOs).

The former Team GB Olympian forced Henshaw to take a knee twice in the opening exchanges with straight right hands to the body, much to the approval of a vocal Anthony Joshua at ringside.

Okolie, 24, then followed up with a crisp one-two which was enough for the referee to call an end to the fight 2.10 into round one.

Despite a heated confrontation between Okolie and domestic rival Isaac Chamberlain during fight week, the Hackney man was unwilling to talk up a future fight in his post-fight interview.
