Middleweight prospect Connor Coyle remained unbeaten Saturday, defeating Travis Scott by unanimous decision at the Coliseum in Saint Petersburg, Florida.

Coyle dropped Scott twice during the third round, but was unable to finish the fighter from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The 28-year-old Coyle, who is originally from Northern Ireland and now resides in the nearby Tampa area, was content to outbox Scott during the second half of the fight. Scores were 80-70, 80-70, and 79-72 for Coyle, who improves to 9-0, 3 knockouts.

Scott has now lost five of his last six fights and drops to 19-5, 5 KOs.

In the co-feature between unbeaten junior middleweights, Mark Reyes (9-0, 7 KOs) of Tampa knocked out Brazil’s Rodrigo Tatijewski in the opening round.

A counter right cross to the top of Tatijewski’s (8-1, 7 KOs) head dropped him face-first to the canvas. Referee Andrew Glenn immediately stopped the fight at 19 seconds.

In the opening bout of the UFC Fight Pass stream, junior welterweight William Silva won a one-sided 10 round decision over Juan Ramon Solis.

Scores were 99-91, 99-91, and 100-90 for Silva, who is originally from Brazil and now resides in nearby Plant City. Silva was stopped by unbeaten Teofimo Lopez in round six on July 14.

Solis (25-14, 9 KOs), who resides in Buenos Aires, Argentina, has now lost his last five bouts.

Middleweight Jason Barnes of Atlanta to improved to 13-0, 6 KOs with a six round unanimous decision over Saint Petersburg’s Alphonso Black (8-6-1, 4 KOs).

The fight card was co-promoted by Rising Promotions and Roy Jones Jr. Promotions.
